Young People, I do tell some of you here to remove some comments on my feed against Nigerian politicians because some of them have memories and will not forget. Some of us can write the way we do, because we do not need their appointments or anything. I continue to remind all that unless God has taken you to a certain level where you do not need appointments from politicians to feel important, or valuable, or to pay for garri, zobo and amala, write strategically.
Here is a case study: “President Bola Tinubu has decided to withdraw the nomination of Ruby Onwudiwe as a member of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) board. This decision comes in response to objections raised by prominent members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), citing Onwudiwe’s support for Peter Obi in the 2023 presidential election.
“According to reports, Senators Opeyemi Bamidele and Solomon Adeola expressed concerns about the propriety of Onwudiwe’s nomination during a meeting with President Tinubu and Senate President Akpabio. Additionally, key APC supporters voiced strong objections to the nomination of an opposition figure for a critical position at the apex bank.”

To Mr. President, I wish you had ignored these politicians and supporters. I mean this is not a secondary school prefectship; this is Nigeria’s presidency. UK Eke turned down the job and they could not convince him to change his mind. But here, they have succeeded to convince you to reverse on Ruby. I am not sure this is how to build a winning team.
