I want to thank the Umuelechi Obuzor Asa (Ukwa West LGA, Abia State) community for welcoming us to set up the Egoras factory. This factory will produce many things, including electric vehicles, and we’re confident that great local jobs would be provided. We thank the elders and the youth for this partnership.
Our team has started clearing the site and construction will begin afterwards. We do hope to get all going, and expand opportunities in Nigeria.
I commend our CEO, Harry Ugoji and the team, and members of Tekedia Capital who invested and supported Egoras. We expect to create additional 500 jobs this year and next within this 20-hectare facility.

To Umuelechi Obuzor Asa community, we thank you. My highest respect to the young people of your community for making the whole process seamless.
Asa community has a gas node which will make it easier to build energy-intensive factories. For two years, we explored sites and found it as the best place in Nigeria. Sure, the land is a little expensive, but gas infrastructures there make things amazing (as an intern in NNPC years ago while in FUT Owerri, I worked closeby in NNPC Gas Flow State in Owaza, running the metering. Great we are back as investors in the area)
