It was a low point to read that bandits killed military officers and abducted a senior officer at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Afaka, Kaduna State, today. Besides the killed and kidnapped, many others sustained gunshot injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment, Premium Times reports.
As a regular in the NDA, I send this message to wish our cadets STRENGTH. I want them to remember that they are part of the hope to deal with this insecurity monster in Nigeria. Yes, if their schools are not safe, imagine the state for the ordinary citizens.
And to Mr. President, help your nation, Nigeria is falling. It is always an honour whenever I walk into an NDA class and teach these students; they represent some of the finest we have. Bandits coming to them, after their fellow citizens have closed schools to avoid being kidnapped, is something that requires your #1 focus. This is the 3am moment; answer the call, for Nigeria.

SECURITY BREACH OF NIGERIAN DEFENCE ACADEMY ARCHITECTURE
The security architecture of the Nigerian Defence Academy was compromised early this morning by unknown gunmen, who gained access into the residential area within the Academy in Afaka. During the unfortunate incident, we lost two personnel and one was abducted.
The Academy, in collaboration with the 1Division Nigerian Army and Air Training Command, as well as other security agencies in Kaduna State, has since commenced pursuit of the unknown gunmen within the general area, with a view to tracking them and rescue the abducted personnel.
The NDA community and Cadets are safe in the Academy. We assure the general public that this unknown gunmen would soon be apprehended and the abducted personnel rescued.

Quite indecipherable, but in Nigeria, no depth is too deep, when it comes to falling on the ground. What guarantees do we have that ‘bandits’ cannot overrun Aso Rock and kidnap the Vice President? Of course they cannot kidnap the president, for obvious reasons.
You will hear the Police issuing directives to its formations, on how they should decisively and mercilessly deal with IPOB members and their ESN arm. You will hear the DSS spitting fire, on why they can never allow any individual or group to destabilise Nigeria. And the military? It has been politicised and weakened, as people now join the military to escape unemployment and show off, not that they really want to fight and defend the territorial integrity of Nigeria.
The more you rise in the military, the more corrupt and lazy you become, and as long as the big guys profit from the mayhem and artificial crises created across board, the end is not near.
Somehow we ended up with Buhari as the president, which is already unfortunate, but we have the most useless National Assembly in this 9th assembly, because for all the lapses and dereliction of duty from the president, the lame creatures in the parliament are even worse, they remain the greatest enemies of ordinary Nigerians.
We will bury the soldiers and officers killed, then wait for the next tragedy.
Taliban took over Afghanistan without any form of resistance, we can as well hand over Nigeria to ‘bandits’, who have magically become more powerful than all of us.
