The Daily Times reports that Nigeria plans to create the Ministry of Information Technology.
Vice President Namadi Sambo has revealed that the federal government is planning to create a ministry of information technology.
“We are currently working on the creation of a new ministry of information technology to boost technology in the country,” he said.
The vice president said there was a need to create the ministry in order to tap the potential of many talented Nigerian youths in information technology.
He said education was one of the priorities of the present administration, “hence its commitment to support institutions aimed at providing Nigerians with quality education”.
