Ndubuisi Ekekwe To Speak in UNESCO Forum on AI in Africa

I have accepted an invitation to be one of the main speakers in the first high-level forum on artificial intelligence in Africa by the United Nations through UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization). The event holds in Morocco Dec 12-13 , 2018.

“More than ever before, Artificial Intelligence is at the heart of debates around the world, and Africa is no exception. Given this interest, UNESCO would like to apply its multidisciplinary expertise, and that of its Member States and high level guests from both the public and private sector in Africa and elsewhere, to enhance interest in AI as a tool for development in Africa. As the development of AI is unparalleled on the continent, this Forum will encourage a reflection on AI with and by African actors. This event will examine the numerous opportunities and challenges raised by AI for sustainable and inclusive development in Africa”. UNESCO
