MAN Is Right, No Nuclear Option in Nigeria. The Nation Is Not Ready for Nuclear Power

The push by Manufacturers Association of Nigeria  (MAN) to ask the federal government to forget the idea of nuclear option is commendable. This is the right direction for our nation. The country should just focus on gas or other alternatives.

“MAN supports the use of gas which we have in abundance. The Federal Government can then look at other resources like solar, hydro, wind, among others which are also in abundance,”

Let the FG listen and please do not install any nuclear plant in Nigeria. No and never. We are better off without light than wiping a whole village one evening because one man has taken ogogoro and pushed ON instead of OFF. Or he just got annoyed that Super Eagles lost a World Cup match and decides to end Nigeria. Bad things happen when those lights go off after Super Eagles loses a match. You better not give them the opportunity to end it for all.
