Let’s Begin the Festival

It begins today….Tekedia Mini-MBA Zoom Live. Come over and let’s discuss the mechanics of markets, and the DNAs of business systems.  ‘Uwa bu ahia” [the world is a market], the Igbo Nation of Africa says. And if the world is a market, We The People are the market makers, movers and shakers. But every market has a governing principle, through ordinances and systems, built to maintain that symbiotic relationship between Demand and Supply.

And if that is so, we are only allowed to push the equilibrium points through perturbations of innovation and business models, but never to break the relationship.

Products are the engines which define and redesign the equilibrium points as demand and supply interact. The greatest companies are known for great products. Because in the physics of markets, products overcome frictions which customers have. And that means that Products are the biggest forces in markets. You need a force to overcome a force, the law of physics says, and the frictions of customers can only go when they meet great products (the force in markets!). Hahahaha.

I am Ndubuisi, my business career began at Oriendu Market, Ovim, Abia State where I sold garri and yam after school. “Ndubuisi, once you notice that those from the cities have started going, reduce the price so that we do not take this yam home”, Lechi, my grandmother, will instruct. That was dynamic pricing, picking patterns on demand.

I welcome you as we begin the festival. This is the #best school. Let’s BEGIN. Zoom link in the Board here.
