The Acting President of Federal Republic of Nigeria Yemi Osinbajo on Saturday, May 27, appointed a new Director General for the National Pension Commission (PENCOM). Tekedia notes that Funso Doherty the new appointee whose appointment is subject to senate confirmation replaces Mal. Dikko Aliyu AbdulRahman. PenCom’s ex-Director General Chinelo Anohu- Amazu was relieved of her duties on Wednesday, April 19 by President Muhammadu Buhari. The Acting President has simply replaced her with a substantive Director.
The Acting President also appointed a substantive Managing Director of the Bank of Industry, Olukayode Pitan
Osinbajo has also approved the following appointments for some Federal Government Parastatals, Agencies and Commissions. Some take immediate effects while some will require Senate confirmations.
