The retail giant says sales jumped 20% in 2020, including $9 billion in sales taken from competitors, “capping off a year when [Target] increased revenue by more than it had in the previous 11 years combined,” according to The Wall Street Journal. Target has invested heavily in online shopping in recent years, a move that paid off against its competitors during lockdowns as it used its stores to ship online orders.
