The Joyful Memories of Levi Wright and His Toy Tractors

In a solemn gathering that brought together family, friends, and fans, rodeo star Spencer Wright paid tribute to his late son, Levi, in a funeral service that was as touching as it was heartbreaking. The loss of a child is an unimaginable sorrow, and the Wright family's openness in sharing their grief has moved many.

Levi, just three [3] years old, tragically passed away following a toy tractor accident. His funeral service, held on June 11, was a testament to the little boy's impact on those around him. Spencer Wright, a figure known for his strength and resilience in the rodeo arena, showed a different kind of courage as he shared fond memories of Levi's playful spirit and love for tractors. These personal anecdotes provided a glimpse into Levi's personality, painting a picture of a boy full of life and laughter.

Spencer Wright describing his son as "the funniest kid," Spencer remembered how Levi loved tractors, often making a beeline to its section whenever the family was at a toy store.

"'Dad, can I look at the tractors?'" he recounted during Levi's June 11 funeral, before quipping to guests how usually "that means I'm bringing a tractor home."

Spencer who also shares daughter Steeley, 5, and son Brae, 10 months with Kallie, he continued with a chuckle, "I'd usually have to pry it out of his hands."

Spencer also noted that Levi had a big sense of humor, playing pranks in the public to embarrass his parents.

Kallie Wright, Levi's Mother, spoke of her son's pure and tender nature, and how he was "impossible to get mad at." The family's speeches highlighted not just their loss but the joy that Levi brought to their lives. It's a poignant reminder on the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing every moment with our loved ones.

"He was as pure and tender as they come," she shared in a speech of her own. "He had always been shy, but once he could talk, he wasn't afraid to say how he felt."

Kallie also acknowledged Levi's love of tractors and noted that "one of his favorite places" was with his dad whenever the family needed to work on their ranch.

"If Spencer was digging or building something," she recalled, "Levi was always right there on dad's knee."

The community's support for the Wright family during this difficult time has been overwhelming. The volunteers and first responders involved in the search and rescue efforts, and the staff at Primary Children's Hospital, were all acknowledged for their compassionate care. This tragic event has undoubtedly left a void in the Wright family, but the memories shared at the service ensure that Levi's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of many.

As we reflect on the Wright family's loss, it's crucial to remember the support systems that help us through our darkest times. The Rodeo community and beyond have come together to offer their condolences and assistance, showing the power of unity in the face of tragedy. Levi's story, though cut tragically short, serves as a reminder of the love and light that children bring into the world, and the importance of keeping their memories alive. Our thoughts are with the Wright family as they navigate this challenging period.

"Levi's family would love to extend a warm thank you to the volunteers and first responders that participated in his search and rescue," the tribute added, "as well as the attentive and compassionate staff at Primary Children's Hospital."
