The Broken Dream in This School in Nigeria

Where you grow up in America will determine the quality of your public education because local real estate taxes majorly fund their primary and secondary schools. So, naturally, a kid living in a rich neighborhood will have access to better schools, because that community generates more revenue from taxes to fund schools.

In Nigeria, it is NOT designed that way since the federal government through Universal Basic Education writes the cheques. Naturally, where you grow up should not determine access to public education since the fund is distributed per capita. But politicians happen in Nigeria,  and bad things befall young people. They corner the money and just like that, futures are punted.

Good People, pray that some crazy people do not hold power in your time. Whoever is that governor, this is a low point. No excuses accepted.
