The BBN dilemma and it's Business depth.
Quote from Henry Ejinwa on September 29, 2019, 8:35 AMThere's been a whole lot of tantrums and banter around the recent disqualification of a certain Housemate in the reality TV show BBN and what do we really learn from the show , which has indirectly created two factions to the whole fuss. This has done nothing but create more awareness for the show and we know what this means for business.??
Now let's dissect this business-wise; The entire entertainment industry operates based on one key business structure and model, LEVERAGING. This cuts across every sector of the industry: Football, Movies, Comedy, Reality show (BBN)...etc. This means the actors (movie actors, footballers, reality show participants, comedians etc) take home the realest juice, this doesn't oppose the fact that the entertaining contents are as well juices for the viewers as well. Imagine it as, 1 million viewers paying #1, and our arithmetic puts it at #1m for the content producers, so more awareness, more viewership and more income. This model cuts across all business sectors.
Now lets take a switch to the sentiments around which entertainment sector is best, has more contents, skillful actors and more educative. My biased truth would be that Football has the best content and more entertaining, but certainly not for the vast readers. This brings us to a node where it is glaring that we can't control what entertains each other, to some it is football, others movies, some others comedy and etc. This we can liken to the bible passage 1Corinthians 12: 6-12, some the gift of wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing spirit, working miracles etc., we are simply diverse in how we are wired.
In this diversness lies therein some LEVERAGING opportunities, so a conclusive question would be:
What can we all do to make 1million people pay us $1.
Disclaimer: I won't be caught watching the BBN program. ??, but you can sure nab me watching lots of football.
adios
