Elon Musk is back in court defending Tesla’s $2.6 billion acquisition of SolarCity, denying claims that he strong-armed Tesla’s board into a deal that “amounted to a bailout” of the faltering energy company, per CNBC. The shareholder lawsuit alleges the deal was rife with conflicts of interest and failed to deliver the promised profits. But Musk denied improper conduct during the negotiation process and added that he doesn’t even enjoy being CEO of Tesla, stating "I rather hate it."
