The numbers are in and hot for Q2 2022
- Africa raised $1.2 billion in Q2 2022 alone, down 15% from Q1’s total VC funding raised.
- The cleantech sector raised about 25% of funding in that period.
- 81% of the total acquisition count from last year has already been achieved in Q2 2022.
- About 750 tech workers have been laid off in Africa.
