Google generative AI, Bard, is now getting better on doing math, coding, etc: "Google has revealed that its conversational generative artificial intelligence chatbot ‘Bard’, is improving at mathematics tasks, coding questions and string manipulation through a new technique called implicit code execution."

If it continues that way, graduate students must watch their backs. Indeed, a lab can just hire “Bard” over students to do certain things.  So, this AI redesign will not just affect typical jobs, but will dislocate many things at the research phase of creating and building new knowledge systems
