Pastor Jimmy Odukoya responds to queries on why he keeps Dreadlocks.

Pastor Jimmy Odukoya is a well-known preacher and motivational speaker in Nigeria. He is also the son of the late Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, who founded the Fountain of Life Church. Pastor Jimmy has been in the spotlight for his unconventional appearance, especially his dreadlocks, which some people consider to be inappropriate for a man of God.

In a recent interview with a popular online magazine, Pastor Jimmy addressed the questions and criticisms he has faced over his hairstyle. He said that his dreadlocks are not a sign of rebellion or compromise, but rather a personal choice that reflects his identity and style.

He explained that he started growing his dreadlocks in 2014, after he moved to the United States for his master's degree. He said that he was inspired by the diversity and freedom of expression he saw in America, and he wanted to try something different with his hair. He also said that he did not intend to keep his dreadlocks permanently, but he liked how they looked and felt on him.

He added that his dreadlocks have not affected his ministry or his relationship with God. He said that he preaches the same message of grace, love and salvation that his father taught him, and he does not judge anyone by their appearance. He said that he has received positive feedback and support from many people, including his wife, his mother, and his congregation.

He also said that he respects the opinions of those who disagree with his hairstyle, but he does not let them bother him. He said that he understands that some people have cultural or religious reservations about dreadlocks, but he believes that God looks at the heart and not the hair. He said that he does not expect everyone to like or accept his dreadlocks, but he hopes that they will not use them as a basis to question his faith or integrity.

He concluded by saying that his dreadlocks are a part of who he is, and he is proud of them. He said that he does not regret his decision to grow them, and he does not plan to cut them anytime soon. He said that he hopes that his dreadlocks will inspire other people to be themselves and to express their individuality without fear or shame.
