Jobberman Co-Founder Ayodeji Adewunmi Joins Rise Capital as Managing Director Africa

Ayodeji Adewunmi who resigned from Jobberman which he co-founded is now the Rise Capital Managing Director for Africa. He also took over as Co-CEO of Gokada, leading a round rumored at $5.3 million in the company.

Jobberman co-founder, Ayodeji Adewunmi, has joined Rise Capital as Managing Director for Africa and has on their behalf, led a US$5.3 million Series A funding round in motorcycle on-demand company, Gokada. Gokada becomes only the third African (and Nigerian) startup that Rise Capital has invested in, after iROKOtv and PrepClass. In his new role as CO-CEO, he will be responsible for finance, operations, people, and regulatory affairs. (Source: TC Daily)

I really hope that things on his behalf would be more than really good, it's quite hard to get investments on any round especially round A which comes way later after seed money I would say, usually lot of times are passing by here totally.
