Japan Targets Mid-2030s for Non EV, Hybrid cars Ban

ZME Science writes that Japan's Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga wants to accelerate the decarbonization of the auto industry, and plans to commit to ban the sale of non EV or hybrid cars by the mid-2030s. The goal is 2050 to be carbon neutral.
