Harry Potter's Bonnie Wright Gives Birth, Welcomes First Baby With Husband Andrew Lococo
Congratulations are in order for Bonnie Wright and Andrew Lococo! The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Elio, on Sept. 19. The Harry Potter star shared the happy news on her Instagram account, posting a sweet photo of her newborn baby's hand. "Our little Elio arrived earth side on Sunday 19th September at 8:18am," she wrote in the caption. "We are so in love with him!"
Bonnie, who played Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter films, married Andrew, a screenwriter and producer, in a private ceremony in July. The pair had announced their pregnancy in June, revealing that they were expecting a boy. Bonnie said at the time that she was "very excited" to become a mom and that she felt "very lucky" to have Andrew by her side. "He's been so supportive and nurturing throughout this whole process," she said.
Bonnie also shared how her Harry Potter co-stars reacted to her pregnancy news, saying that they were "all so happy" for her. "They've been like family to me since I was nine years old, so it's been really nice to share this new chapter with them," she said. Some of her former castmates, including Emma Watson, Evanna Lynch, and James and Oliver Phelps, congratulated her on her Instagram post, sending their love and best wishes.

Bonnie is not the only Harry Potter alum who has recently become a parent. Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley, welcomed his first child, a daughter named Wednesday, with his girlfriend Georgia Groome in May 2020. Daniel Radcliffe, who played Harry Potter, also revealed in August that he is expecting his first child with his wife Erin Darke.
