Greencamp postpones festival to October to accommodate University Students.
Quote from Oladosun Joshua Segun on September 9, 2023, 8:27 PMGreencamp, the annual music and arts festival that celebrates environmental awareness and sustainability, has announced that it will postpone its event to October this year 2023. The decision was made in response to feedback from many university students who wanted to attend the festival but were unable to do so due to their academic schedules.
The festival, which was originally planned for August, will now take place from {October 10 to October 12} at the same venue, the Green Valley Park. The organizers said that they hope the change of date will allow more students to join the festival and enjoy the diverse lineup of performers, artists, speakers and workshops.
"We are very excited to welcome more students to Greencamp this year," said Lisa Green, the founder and director of Greencamp. "We believe that students are the future leaders of the environmental movement, and we want to inspire them with our festival. We also want to thank our sponsors, partners and supporters for their understanding and flexibility in accommodating this change."
