Good News in Nigeria
Quote from Ndubuisi Ekekwe on November 2, 2020, 9:31 AMI was concerned that Nigeria would go into a long-term paralysis as a result of many upheavals which we had experienced over the last few weeks. But in the last six days, it is evident that many still BELIEVE. Three of our startups are closing or have raised new funding; one closed on Friday while the other two are reviewing term sheets. These businesses are indigenously Nigeria-focused.
So, this is Good News as these funds are coming from the United States and within Nigeria. Simply, despite the challenges, many still believe. Let’s unite, rebuild, and advance our nation.
I have tough love for Nigeria. As I wrote many years ago in the Harvard Business Review, Nigeria (Africa) is open for business.
