Evolution of Lighting Design
Lights are essential for our daily lives, but have you ever wondered how they evolved over time? I will take you on a journey through the history of lights design, from the ancient times to the modern era.

Oil lamps were more portable and durable than fire, and could be decorated with various designs and shapes. Oil lamps were widely used in ancient civilizations such as Greece, Rome, China and India.

The Middle Ages saw the development of lanterns, which were metal or wooden frames with transparent sides that enclosed a candle or an oil lamp. Lanterns were used for outdoor lighting, such as on streets, ships and carriages. Lanterns were also used for signaling and navigation, such as lighthouses and beacons. These lights use different methods to produce light, such as gas discharge, semiconductors or stimulated emission. These lights have different colors, shapes and effects, and can be used for various purposes, such as decoration, art and entertainment.
