If you are in a digital business [everyone is indeed on that, from web companies to banks], the African Union Commission has unveiled the Personal Data Protection Guidelines for Africa (PDPGA). The document was developed in partnership with the Africa Internet Society.  The PDPGA mirrors the Europe's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
