It is a great research which I have been working on since last year, picking data across multiple ecosystems to see how a new economic pattern is developing in Africa. Yesterday, my Harvard Business Review editors approved it. You will be reading it next month.

 

I extrapolated my thesis that Africa’s developmental paradigm which has been mimicking China’s has expired. Why? Western Europe and America which fueled China’s ascension through outsourcing of factory jobs there will not send those jobs to Africa as China becomes richer. My point is that AI and robotics have disintermediated those opportunities (read at Harvard here  )
