Beyond US Dollar Scarcity, Nigeria’s Problem is TRUST Scarcity – and that is leadership [video]

Nigeria does not have a dollar scarcity problem or whatever scarcity you may think. Our challenge today is TRUST scarcity. I had planned to drop my Option #2 on how to fix the forex problem, but after reading comments on the Option #1 on social media, I came to this conclusion: it is beyond US dollar scarcity, the real challenge is TRUST scarcity. And Nigeria needs to focus on that.

Good People, but remember, a faith-less and believe-less nation will not have energy to do anything! Yes, if you think your LGA, state and federal systems cannot do anything of value, what are your alternatives?

Nigeria needs to fix its leadership system.

1 THOUGHT ON Beyond US Dollar Scarcity, Nigeria’s Problem is TRUST Scarcity – and that is leadership [video]

  1. On February 25 2023, Nigerians came out in their numbers to elect a new president, prior to the date, the umpire for the election gave many assurances that results would be transmitted in real-time, from polling units to IREV, for transparency. Did we get that? That was the height of it! It does matter whether you backed Tinubu, Atiku or Obi, but you see that betrayal of non transmission of results in real-time? It is one thing that will perpetually separate criminals from virtues people, till the end of age.

If you ask Nigerians in the diaspora to raise billions of dollars to cushion the dollar crisis, and they ask these two questions:

Do you believe that the results of the 2023 presidential election were truly what happened on the day?

Do you believe that the certificate the APC candidate submitted to INEC was original?

If you cannot answer these two questions sincerely and convincingly, you have no business preaching about trust in the system.

You want Nigerians to sacrifice and give their lives for Nigeria? Very simple, do the right thing.

There is a limit to lies. Even when you are very foolish, there will come a time when you tell fake people that they have lied enough. And that is where we are right now.
