Zenvus, the agtech subsidiary in Fasmicro Group, has been nominated for the Bayer Foundations’ Aspirin Social Innovation Award. The nomination is invitation-only, meaning that only Bayer Foundations can nominate a company.
The Aspirin Social Innovation Award honors disruptive impact innovations in health and nutrition from around the world that have the potential to bring about systematic change for the rising billions in need.
The award is open for social impact pioneers whose innovations offer new solutions for improving health care or to end global hunger.
Zenvus makes sensors which turn farmers into businesspeople, replacing guesswork technology which has been used for decades in Africa with data-driven technology. The data-driven technology empowers farmers to make decisions based on data. The outcome is higher yield which typical leads to better welfare for the farmers.
This is the Zenvus page on this award. We are representing Nigeria in this program.
