Nicholas Alifa is an emerging authority in food insight and sustainability, using data to help organizations achieve sustainability goals in feeding people. He leads the communication and information dissemination for the s3 project at the University of Lincoln, tracking real-time carbon emissions in food manufacturing. Nicholas is also a founding executive at the Centre for African Food Research and Innovation (CAFRI). With over a decade of experience across the food systems industry, academics, policy, and research, he has successfully implemented projects of various scales and influenced policy agendas through data-driven research and advocacy. He holds three master’s degrees and is a Harvard Business School alumnus and loves sharing his insights on food systems and sustainability globally.
