Facebook wants you to be safe online. It has partnered with the International Centre for Leadership Development Nigeria (ICLDNG) on free internet safety resources for teenagers, parents and educators through its newly launched Safety Centre, Vanguard reports.

Mr. Felix Iziomoh, the Executive Director of ICLDNG said, “We’re pleased to partner with Facebook to help educate people about how they can stay safe online. We believe in the positive uses of technology and we are happy to play a role in helping to create a better and safer online community.”

According to Facebook Public Policy Manager Africa, Mr. Akua Gyekye, the redesigned Safety Centre which is available in over 50 languages walks people through the tools Facebook offers to control their experience on Facebook as well as numerous tips and resources for safe and secure sharing of information.
