A new university in Abia State, Nigeria structured to become one of the most advanced institutions in the world with Technology Park, all connected to tele-classrooms in Silicon Valley and Boston to enable deep collaborations with leading professors, top entrepreneurs and global innovation centers. Foundation class is planned to enroll in September 2014.

We will measure quality with three metrics – employability, citizenship and entrepreneurship. The school housed in a 250-acre land offers a vista to close the loop that exists within education, research and innovation in Africa by meeting the triple helix of educational, economic and scholarly impacts.

At AFRIT, our goal is to shape Africa’s future; join this movement to “assemble Africa’s brightest kids, educate them, and then empower them to invent the next future“. Five clusters (ICT, energy, minerals, health and agriculture) inside a technopark anchored by a world-class university; that is the masterplan.

AFRIT in coming days will unveil a payment platform which anyone poised to see this project succeed can donate.
