Samsung is aiming to eliminate queues at music gigs and other events by trialling a new wristband technology to replace paper tickets. The wristbands use RFID chips and can be synced with social media profiles on Facebook and Twitter. The new technology is being trialled by Samsung at a Red Hot Chilli Peppers gig in Knebworth today, and attending fans will be able to check in at the Samsung tent for a chance to win a VIP ticket and have a play around with the Galaxy Note and the new Galaxy S III.
