Ericsson Application Awards is an annual, global competition for application developers on the Android platform.
Kenya’s MedAfrica has made the finals. The award pays €15,000 and exposure through the network. Along with other three companies, they will be invited to the Awards Ceremony at Ericsson Headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden on May 22nd.
MedAfrica seeks to improve the health of communities and regions by increasing access to health care related information and services among consumers in Africa from the comfort of their mobile phones. Health is a universal need that affects the output of communities directly impacting their socioeconomic standing.
