United Bank for Africa (UBA) on Friday forecast a profit before tax of N32.08 billion for the second quarter ending June 2012, profit after taxation to appreciate by 86.2 per cent from N19.312 billion recorded in first quarter of this year to N26.62 billion.

 

The Group Managing Director of the bank, Phillips Oduoza who disclosed this while presenting the fact behind the figure of the bank on the floor of the Nigeria Stock Exchange, said the profit before tax in second quarter would grow by 86.8 per when compared with N24.384 billion recorded in first quarter of this year.
