The iPhone 5 is expected to break with tradition and feature a bigger display. This means rather than the iPhone 4S’s 3.5-inch screen, the new iPhone is thought to land with a 4.6-inch Retina display.
But that’s old news – the new news is that Apple is braced to make a swap from using LCD technology to OLED for its displays. This change in the nature of screens would be for the iPad as well as the iPhone, according to the Korea Times (via TechWatch).
