The Kenya Film Commission has the to make Kenya a center of excellence in film production.This includes helping to create an enabling environment for the development of a vibrant local industry as well as marketing Kenya as a leading destination for foreign filmmakers. They do have many film school series, including Kibera Film School.

Kibera Film School takes this great opportunity to announce our first intake in 2012 “Foundation in Film Making“. This is a five months full time and intensive training for talented youths. Youths are trained in scriptwriting, camera, production, sound, editing, Photoshop, directing and entrepreneurship.

Application form can be attained from the training center at a fee of 100 KSh and the fees structure given upon request. The intake deadline is 4th February   2012 where the classes are commencing on the 13th of February 2012. For more about this, click here.
