Interview with Dr. Ndubuisi Ekekwe

Monday, November 07, 2011

Dr. Ndubuisi Ekekwe, one of IGI Global’s most esteemed editors, recently took some time to talk to IGI Global about his blog. Dr. Ekekwe is a researcher and editor who has been blogging for years as a way to get his ideas out into the world as well as promote and bring attention to his research and writing.

IGI Global: What initially interested you about blogging, and why did you start your own blog, Nkpuhe?

Dr. Ekekwe: I used blogging to dissipate new ideas as they came. I noticed that after blogging about a topic, I felt liberated. I used to write for many newspapers, but a time came when the rate of publication was slower than the rate that ideas were coming to my brain. Quickly, I started my blog. Nkpuhe (which means “revelation” in the Nigerian Igbo language) has since moved to Tekedia.com.
