MTN Nigeria Launches N1 Billion Mega Reward Scheme

MTN Nigeria has unveiled a N1 billion Mega Reward Scheme to reward its customers. This promo is part of the ways MTN is celebrating its 10 years anniversary in Nigeria. Basically, they want to thank their customers in a big way and in the process get new customer base.

According to a statement from MTN, the offer will last for 90 days . It began on Sept 7 and is open to all customers with MTN SIM cards. The General Manager Consumer Marketing of the company, Mr. Kola Oyeyemi was full of praise for Nigerians even as he noted that this could as well be  “Nigeria’s biggest reward ever”.

He expressed his gratitude to the industry regulator and Nigerians for supporting the SIM card registration exercise. He reiterated that MTN mission will continue to improve people’s lives; enrich, and touch them in positives ways.

“When a man or a woman has N10 million, you will agree with me that that life is turn around permanently if he has God on his side is not likely to be poor again,” he said.

MTN is Nigeria’s leading telecom operator.

Oyeyemi disclosed that the company’s essence was to enrich, touch and turn around the lives of their customers. “When a man or a woman has N10 million, you will agree with me that that life is turn around permanently if he has God on his side is not likely to be poor again,” he said.

He said that for customers to qualify for the reward scheme they would not be required to do anything extra or go out of their way, they would only need to be who they are and use their mobile phone the way they normally use it, explaining that they would also need to register their SIMS with MTN or NCC, Migrate to any of the new MTN packages (MTN Funlink Reloaded, MTN Family and Friends Xpanded and MTN Super Saver),The customers will recharge any denomination and qualify for a draw and draws to be held every 10 days.

He pointed out that what the subscribers stand to win is a 10, 10, 10 because they are ten years hold in Nigeria, so 10 people will become richer every 10 days by N10 million, stating that for the people who came for the draws and the price presentation, they will stand the chance of wining instant cash prices totaling N10 million, which when added together would amount to N1 billion.

The names of the winners would be published in the newspapers and on our website, we have a very clear rules on this, we give the biggest of 10 million in this country and the winner is alive.”

Oyeyemi explained that to really key in into the Yellow season, there would be 10 concerts in 10 cities with ten elite Artists in Nigeria, so that anywhere a consumer go within the cities across the country will have nothing to do to be at the concerts, noting that there is no money attach or anything extra rather than to go and have funs.

  16. I strongly commended your initiatives and efforts in creating new set of millionaires in a developing economy like that of Nigeria. This would have significant impact in improving and making difference to the lives of the winners. On the other hand it would have been much appreciated if those that won these prizes are able to put it into good use such as creating employment opportunities and helping to enhance the development and growth of their fellow impoverished Nigerian.

May I also seize this occasion to suggest on the alternative to handling cash to individuals. Why not please use your wealth, resources, innovation, creativity and extensive knowledge that has led to your organisation’s prosperity to have an influence in one of the basic necessity of human needs (Housing) which is lacking in Nigeria. As a regular visitor to Nigeria it is hard for someone not to notice your expansion and influence. I am hereby imploring you to please use your expertise to assist and contribute in reducing and alleviating level of poverty though the building of comfortable and avoidable houses in Nigeria. Implementation of low cost housing all over the nation for the poor will forever place your organisation in the history book like Guinness Trust, Barclays Bank and other reputable institutions here in UK.
